MEET PASTOR JACOB
About Jacob Rodriguez
Pastor Jacob Rodriguez is a fifth generation Apostolic and third generation pastor. He received the call to preach at the age of 12 and was groomed by his father Bishop Joseph V. Rodriguez. He preached his first sermon at the age of 16 and was ordained as a minister at the age of 21. Then at the age of 22, Pastor Jacob became one of the youngest published authors in the Apostolic Assembly when he wrote his first book, The Woman’s Touch. Since then, he has authored numerous books and ministered to thousands, both nationally and internationally.
Pastor Jacob has served in youth ministry and church leadership at various levels throughout his trajectory. In addition to attending Christian Life College (Stockton, CA), Pastor Jacob also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from the International Apostolic Bible College (CBAI).
From 2010-2012, Pastor Jacob served as the Leadership Coordinator for the National Messengers of Peace. From 2012-2016, he served as Secretary of the National Messengers of Peace. From 2016-2022, Pastor Jacob served as President of the National Messengers of Peace.
From 2022 until present day, Pastor Jacob has served as the director of the Northern Pacific Coast Bible College in San Jose, CA.
In 2013, Pastor Jacob planted CityLight Church in Mountain View, CA, where he still serves as lead pastor. He and his wife Cherie and their two children, Makai and Chloe, live in the Silicon Valley.
